We are a group of therapists in Calgary offering support to individuals, couples and families as well as group therapy.
We welcome individuals from all walks of life. Our practice is inclusive and affirming, offering a safe space for everyone, regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, or spiritual beliefs. If you’re seeking support, guidance, or a deeper connection with yourself or your loved ones, we are here to help. Let’s work together toward healing and growth.

Helping you achieve self-understanding and self-awareness is my passion. I believe that when we truly understand ourselves, we can make choices that align with our present needs and long-term goals.
Conscientia Counselling began in my heart long before it became a practice. Ever since I earned my Master’s Degree, I knew I wanted to create a space where people felt seen, heard, and supported and now with my recently earned Certification in Clinical Supervision, I can support other therapists in Calgary and in Canada so they can support you.
Through my journey, I’ve had the privilege of learning from various therapeutic theories, working under professional supervision, and being part of a deeply supportive community of colleagues. These experiences have shaped and continue to influence the work I do today.
I am a certified EMDR Therapist, a trained Transactional Analysis counsellor and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. My work is informed by the foundations of Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, Somatic interventions, and linking it all to spirituality and Quantum healing.
Our practice is a teaching practice. We have one of the few programs of therapists in Calgary offering affordable therapy program, which offers a lower hourly rate if you work with one of our interns who is supervised by Dayami Fernandes.

Supervisor- Dayami Fernandes CCC, CCS, MACP, Certified EMDR Therapist, B.Ed.
As a master’s student in Counselling Psychology, I am completing my practicum with Conscientia Counselling. I am passionate about supporting individuals on their unique paths toward growth, healing, and self-discovery.
My background is rooted in Disability Studies, and for over six years I have worked closely with neurodivergent children, developing a deep appreciation for the diverse ways people experience and navigate the world. This experience has strengthened my commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and empathetic space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
I take a strengths-based, collaborative approach, empowering clients to build on their existing abilities and discover strategies that fit their individual needs. My training and education have emphasized areas including self-regulation, trauma, addictions, neurodiversity, adolescents and families.
My approach to counselling draws from multiple modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Person-Centred, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). My goal is to offer evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each person’s unique needs and journey.
As a master’s student in Counselling Psychology completing my practicum training, I am dedicated to supporting individuals as they explore their experiences and discover new ways of navigating life. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, viewing clients as the experts in their own lives. I am committed to inclusive mental health care that honours each person’s unique identity and story, and I strive to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I value a holistic perspective that recognizes the
connection between mind and body, and how our emotions, relationships, and lived experiences shape overall well-being.
My background in community rehabilitation and Disability Studies, along with almost 10 years of experience working with diverse individuals and families, has shaped my dedication to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice and deepened my respect for the many ways people think, feel, and move through the world. My training has prepared me for a broad range of concerns, including stress, regulation, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationships, and personal growth.
My work draws from approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), person-centred therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to offer compassionate, flexible support that fosters resilience and meaningful change

I just completed my undergraduate degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies with a minor in Sociology at the University of Calgary, where my focus has been on women’s trauma, mental well-being, and resilience. Soon, I will be starting my master’s degree in clinical counselling on my journey to becoming a therapist in Calgary.
My academic background, combined with over four years of experience as a behavioural aide supporting children with diverse needs, has strengthened my commitment to creating inclusive and supportive environments. As the Office Manager at Conscientia Counselling, I look forward to ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the welcoming, client-centred experience that defines our practice.

“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams, who looks inside awakes.”
