At the core of my work is a commitment to integrity, empathy, and respect. I believe in treating every client with dignity and without judgment, ensuring that their stories are heard in a confidential and compassionate environment.

My vision of life is grounded in the belief that every person has the potential to grow, heal, and find balance, no matter the challenges they face. I view counselling as a partnership in which clients are empowered to discover their strengths, and I am committed to walking beside them on this journey of self-discovery.

At Conscientia Counselling, I aim to offer guidance and support that honours the uniqueness of every individual, helping them move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. During my practicum, I’m excited to deepen my skills in active listening and to learn from the diverse experiences of the clients I will work with.

Dayami Fernandes

Counselling Therapist

Owner and Clinical Director

Helping people achieve self-understanding and self-awareness is my passion. I believe that when we truly understand ourselves, we can make choices that align with our present needs and long-term goals.

I provide counselling and therapy in Calgary for individuals, couples, and families. Conscientia Counselling began in my heart long before it became a practice—ever since I earned my Master’s Degree, I knew I wanted to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Through my journey, I’ve had the privilege of learning from various therapeutic theories, working under professional supervision, and being part of a deeply supportive community of colleagues. These experiences shape the work I do today.

At Conscientia Counselling, I welcome individuals from all walks of life. My practice is inclusive and affirming, offering a safe space for everyone, regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, or spiritual beliefs. If you’re seeking support, guidance, or a deeper connection with yourself or your loved ones, I’m here to help. Let’s work together toward healing and growth.
